Calibration Technician

Full-time Shift(s): FRI SAT SUN 6:00am - 6:30pm
OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Calibration Technician you will calibrate and repair inspection measurement and test equipment to ensure accurate readings and repeatability. You will be supporting a variety of calibration disciplines including dimensional gaging precision measurement devices torque tools electronics pressure gages force gages and mass gaging. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding training and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
o Calibrating test and measurement devices
o Conducting adjustments and repairs to maintain accuracy and repeatability of devices
o Conducting NIST traceable calibrations using a variety of testing equipment
o Recording and documenting calibration information within a controlled database
o Communicating project status and results
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or older
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Exhibit strong problem solving deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Demonstrate strong organization planning and prioritizing abilities
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Highly motivated self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition innovation integrity and teamwork
o Lift slide carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior calibration or metrology work experience
o Excellent technical repair skills

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $30000 - 60000. In addition to base pay this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
