The Position: Calibration Technician

We are seeking an enthusiasticCalibration Technicianto join our calibration team. This department team specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types.This is a full-time position based at our corporate office in Marietta GAand offers a comprehensiveTotal Awardspackage including competitive compensation medical dental vision short term and long-term disability life insurance tuition reimbursement paid holidays and paid time off/vacation.

Job Description:

Candidates will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. The candidate should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must. Candidates may be required to travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and calibration of environmental measuring equipment such as temperature humidity infrared and wind measuring devices.
• Become familiar with environmental calibration laboratory and safety through structured and on the job training.
• Write reports.
• Perform analysis of test results and literature related to customers products/machinery/equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Basic awareness of a lab environment and related safety protocols through education or experience.
• Ability and willingness to work alone or as part of a team.
• Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend test data and equipment product and machinery manuals.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment;good verbal communication and written communication skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Candidates with prior military experience are encouraged to apply..
• Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds.
• Candidate shall have a clean driving record background check and drug screen.
