Spectral Labs is a spatial intelligence company building foundation models for engineering design. Existing foundation models lack real spatial understanding; Spectral trains large models that can design and reason about physical systems. It released SGS-1 the first generative model for structured 3D parametric CAD and is now building SGS-2.

Spectral is hiring CAD / Geometry Engineers to build the geometry and data pipelines behind the next generation of CAD foundation models. You will work at the intersection of computational geometry CAD kernel internals and AI research collaborating directly with the research team on data representation and model architecture.

• Build high-performance geometry pipelines that ingest CAD data across formats and convert B-rep geometry feature trees and parametric data into representations for ML.
• Work inside CAD kernels to extract manipulate and reason about solid geometry programmatically.
• Weigh in on model architecture and design as the data representation evolves.
• Build automated extraction encoding reconstruction and verification systems.
• Lead data collection and curation depending on experience.

• Deep experience with computational geometry and CAD kernel internals (such as OpenCASCADE or Parasolid)
• Experience building high-performance data pipelines
• Interest in AI/ML and working closely with researchers
• Ability to work full time in the San Francisco office
