CAD Drafter / CNC Programmer
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Our client a growing manufacturing company is seeking a CAD Drafter/CNC Programmer to join its Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience who enjoys working in a collaborative quality-focused manufacturing ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically minded and able to work independently while supporting engineering projects from design through production. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering team with drafting and programming to ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards.

• Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor.

• Develop and modify CNC programs as needed.

• Interpret complex parts assemblies and bills of material.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions with minimal supervision.

• Ensure accuracy quality and cost-effectiveness in all drafting and programming work.

• Collaborate with engineering production and other departments to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of one year of experience using AutoCAD or another 2D/3D modeling software

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Inventor

• Experience in mechanical or sheet metal drafting

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent computer skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Associate degree or vocational training in Drafting Engineering Technology or a related field

• Experience with MRP systems in a manufacturing environment

• One year of manufacturing experience

• CNC programming experience
