Job Summary
Staff Up is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Cable Cutter Operators to join our growing team in Dallas TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
Pay: $18/hr
Temp to Hire Opportunity!
The Cable Cutter Operator will be responsible for operating cable cutting equipment ensuring accuracy in measurement and quality and supporting daily production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor cable cutting machines safely and efficiently
- Measure cut and prepare cables according to production specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in packaging and material handling as required
- Operate cable production equipment such as pay-off stands take-up machines jacket stripping machine etc.
- Load cable into machines as per work instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure smooth operation
- Record production and self-inspection data accurately
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cable manufacturing and cutting preferred
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to stand lift and handle cable materials during shifts
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to operate ERP/MES system
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable with standing bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
