Job Summary
Position Summary
Responsible for sourcing purchasing and negotiating materials equipment and services from approved vendors.
Evaluates supplier capabilities pricing and performance to ensure best value or lowest price/technically acceptable while maintaining compliance with government regulations including FAR/DFARS.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure materials equipment and services in accordance with company policies and government regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Analyze vendor quotes proposals and service offerings to identify the most cost-effective and compliant solutions
Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value
Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to support quality delivery and cost objectives
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery quality or pricing
Ensure procurement activities follow established procedures internal controls and compliance standards
Basic Qualifications
24 years of experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management
Working knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Ability to follow established processes and operate effectively under supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (We Value)
Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or related field
Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
Analytical data-driven approach to decision-making
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Work Environment
Works under general supervision with defined guidelines and procedures
Reports to Procurement Manager or Sr Procurement Manager
