Business Intelligence Analyst

Main purpose of role

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support client-facing strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role ensures accurate client-facing analytics maintains analytical tools and drives data-driven improvements across client and internal initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program management office to ensure the accurate and timely production of monthly quarterly and annual client reports.

• Complete complex ad-hoc reports to support client requests.

• Learn and apply effective use of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as Fieldglass Beeline VNDLY and Coupa including report preparation and data utilization.

• Analyze data from multiple sources to deliver meaningful insights recommendations and conclusions that drive clients business decisions.

• Maintain and update team tools and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.

• Stay informed on industry trends and customer benchmarks to provide relevant analysis on a quarterly basis within assigned verticals.

• Design and enhance client-facing Power BI dashboards using API integrations to improve data visualization and accessibility.

• Manage and update client-facing Microsoft Power Pages to ensure current and accurate content.

• Design and implement automation for client production reports and related workflows to reduce manual effort.

• Create rate cards for new clients

• Run market rate analysis requests

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Statistics or Mathematics

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence data analysis or market research roles.

• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL for data visualization and querying.

• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies data modeling concepts and working with diverse data sources and APIs.

• Preferred - At least 2 years of experience working with relational and multidimensional database schemas including writing complex queries.
