Position Summary

The Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a pivotal role in driving MediStreams growth by generating qualified sales opportunities and building the foundation of our business development function. As the companys first dedicated BDR youll serve as the critical link between Marketing and Sales transforming marketing-qualified leads into meaningful conversations while proactively identifying new business opportunities across the healthcare market.

Working directly with the Vice President of Marketing this role combines strategic prospecting consultative selling and process development to establish a scalable demand generation engine. Youll engage healthcare executives revenue cycle leaders and operational decision-makers while helping define the playbook that will support the future growth of MediStreams business development organization.

Key Responsibilities

Youll:

• Drive pipeline growth from marketing-generated leads by engaging marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) from campaigns webinars events and other initiatives converting them into qualified sales meetings.
• Execute strategic outbound prospecting efforts by developing multi-channel outreach campaigns through phone email LinkedIn and other sales engagement platforms to generate new opportunities.
• Represent MediStreams at industry events by attending conferences webinars partner meetings and networking opportunities to build relationships and identify qualified prospects.
• Serve as the bridge between Marketing and Sales by providing feedback on lead quality messaging effectiveness campaign performance and conversion trends to continuously improve pipeline generation.
• Develop and document scalable business development processes by creating repeatable outreach strategies qualification standards and follow-up workflows that support future team growth.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline integrity by ensuring HubSpot records prospect activities opportunity stages and pipeline data remain current and actionable.
• Build relationships with healthcare decision-makers by engaging CFOs Revenue Cycle Directors Practice Administrators and other key stakeholders through consultative conversations.
• Support both direct and channel sales initiatives by collaborating with strategic partners including banks clearinghouses EHR vendors and practice management partners to identify and develop opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership by contributing market intelligence competitive insights and prospect feedback that influences campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
• Continuously improve business development performance by refining outreach techniques identifying new prospecting opportunities and adopting industry best practices.
• Support additional sales and marketing initiatives as needed by contributing to strategic projects special campaigns and evolving business priorities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Youre a great fit if you have:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3 years of Business Development Sales Development or Inside Sales experience within B2B SaaS
• Experience within healthcare technology healthcare payments revenue cycle management or related healthcare markets strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success consistently achieving or exceeding sales and pipeline generation goals
• Strong understanding of healthcare provider buying processes and executive decision-makers
• Experience working within both direct and channel-partner sales environments
• Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement platforms including HubSpot LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo or similar tools
• Excellent consultative selling discovery and relationship-building skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to build structure establish processes and thrive in a high-growth environment
• Interest in growing into Business Development leadership or an Account Executive role
