Job Summary
CS Business Analyst
In this role you will be accountable for maintaining the relationship with the end user for small to medium scale projects. You are responsible for eliciting requirements/user stories and representing them throughout the systems development cycle. The CS Business Analyst will lead requirements elicitation and documentation for a small to medium sized project and work as part of a business analysis team on larger projects under the supervision of more senior colleagues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
Coordinates Plan & Define activities as part of the Requirements Development process for small to medium size projects
Development of business process models and business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional)
Partners with the business community to develop comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans and ensuring the application is successfully transitioned to production
Investigates business issues and data challenges
Serves as the requirements liaison across project stakeholders
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree required (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience. 3 years in an applicable business environment.
3 years experience in a BA role
Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position
Working technical knowledge and understanding of business analyst fundamentals
Working technical knowledge of writing and leading Business Requirements Documents
Working technical knowledge of business process modeling; knowledge in business/functional domain
Understanding of business issues and data challenges of the assigned business area
Understanding of business processes and how applications support the process
Demonstrate critical skills such as collaboration strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical capability
Ability to facilitate sessions with project stakeholders asking probing questions to elicit business process discussion and creating process flow diagrams.
