This position is Hybrid with 3 days in office.
The Business Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- IT Strategy & Planning: Provide business and system analysis develop functional specifications resolve application issues and support new software implementations.
- User Experience Analysis: Create project documentation user stories acceptance criteria and support testing/reporting within an agile framework.
- Requirements Elicitation & Definition: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions develop technical functional and reporting requirements and collaborate with developers and QA.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate project tasks support testing of new features and act as liaison between IT and business teams.
- Project Analysis: Conduct analysis into project issues manage shifting priorities and clearly communicate risks and solutions.
- Tracking & Reporting: Maintain documentation including issue/risk logs status reports and assist in leading small project teams.
Essential:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 3 years experience with systems SDLC and requirements gathering.
- Previous Business Analyst experience with process mapping tools (Visio Lucid).
- Strong communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in agile frameworks (epic feature story creation).
- Experience working with project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- PMI-PBA CBAP or CAPM certification.
- Agile certifications (CSM or AAC).
- Experience in the building or construction industry.
