Bus Driver

Job Goal:To provide safe and efficient transportation of students
Work Year: student attendance days
Work Hours:4 hour guarantee
Salary: Probationary starting rate $25.00 per hour
Benefits:10 sick days/1.5 personal days

Performance Responsibilities:
Maintains assigned schedule
Transports only authorized students
Discharges students only at authorized stops
Maintains discipline when students are on bus
Obeys all traffic laws
Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses
Notifies the proper authority in case of equipment failure
Keeps assigned bus clean and fueled
Reports all accidents and complete required reports
Follows all department procedures and policies outlined in handbook


Qualifications or Requirements/Perks:
To drive must have a valid Illinois Drivers License with CDL endorsement and Illinois school bus permit & pass criminal background check-
