Bus driver 4

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver 4 to join our transportation team in Cincinnati United this role you will be responsible for operating a bus safely and efficiently while providing excellent service to our passengers. You will follow established routes and schedules ensure passenger safety and comfort and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer care. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to safe driving practices and exceptional passenger experiences.

• Operate buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout Cincinnati
• Follow established schedules and routes while maintaining punctuality
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to maintenance
• Maintain accurate driving logs passenger counts and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes delays or emergencies
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus in a professional and courteous manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws regulations and company safety policies
• Respond professionally to passenger inquiries and concerns
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior throughout the day
• Report safety hazards or security concerns to supervisors immediately

Qualifications :

• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Current DOT medical certification
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Passenger safety training certification
• Excellent knowledge of Cincinnati routes and navigation
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain punctuality
• Proficiency in radio communication systems
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness
• Professional demeanor and reliability

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Multiple years of bus driving experience
• Defensive driving certification
• Experience working with diverse passenger populations
• Familiarity with public transportation systems and operations
• Experience with automated passenger counting systems
