Buildings (Structural) Engineering Intern Summer 2027

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Buildings Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team learn and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software packages.
• Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.
• Help coordinate project requirements schedules and deliverables.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

Required:

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Civil Structural or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of design codes and standards.
