Position Introduction: The Building Operations Administrator for the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History will oversee all day-to-day operations of the physical building which includes the Security Facility and Custodial departments. This position is responsible for the maintenance repair security and safety of the museum. The Building Operations Administrator reports to the Director and will work closely with other staff to help implement the operational aspects of the Museum. The position requires a strategic thinker who will proactively recognize operational efficiency needs anticipate issues and opportunities and recommend value-added solutions. The candidate will possess progressive experience in facilities management residential or commercial construction general-contracting experience and/or combined education and experience preferably in a cultural institution. The Building Operations Administrator must have strong interpersonal skills and be a team player with the ability to work with staff and stakeholders. |
