Bridge Engineering Intern – Summer 2027

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Bridge Engineering Intern Summer 2027 to join our Orlando FL office.

• Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures.
• Support the senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists quantity take-offs and redlines for bridges and civil structures.
• Complete technical training courses assigned for career development.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with design plans.

• EXPERIENCE: Prior experience working with a team in a professional setting
• EDUCATION: Must be a junior and have completed 90 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to learn analysis software including MathCAD Excel and bridge modeling tools.

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills experience and geographical location.
