Bound Brook Store Associate

The Role / General Purpose:This is a fast-paced production role responsible for receiving donations and preparing them for sale. The role includes sorting tagging pricing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds while working with a high volume of inventory. Maintaining stockroom organization ensuring quality control and following safety standards are essential to success in this Responsibilities:Sort grade and inspect donations (textiles housewares electronics shoes and accessories) for quality and and price merchandise according to company standards meeting production goals per hour).Prepare items on rolling racks and carts for transport to the sales floor meeting company standards for full and separate items for e-commerce and clearance departments accurately labeling all goodsFollow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a clean and secure work excellent customer and donor service including accepting donations issuing receipts and ensuring the donation area remains neat and organized when Goodwills mission by maximizing efficiency and productivity in daily other duties as assigned to support the store team and broader organizational Requirements:Flexibility in your availability is essential to meet the needs of the business which operates Monday to Sunday 7:00am to 9: & Safety Guidelines:This role involves handling pre-owned merchandise which may contain allergens dust or other substances.
