Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Bookings Agent. As a Bookings Agent you will be responsible for assisting clients with their travel bookings and ensuring that all their needs are met. This is a full-time position with potential for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate with clients via phone email and in-person to understand their travel needs and preferences

- Research and provide clients with various travel options and packages that meet their requirements

- Book flights accommodations and other travel arrangements for clients

- Handle any changes or cancellations to bookings and ensure that clients are informed and updated

- Process payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions

- Keep up-to-date with travel industry trends and promotions to offer the best deals to clients

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in travel and tourism is an asset

- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role preferably in the travel industry

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficiency in using booking and reservation systems

- Knowledge of popular travel destinations and attractions

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Passion for travel and helping others create memorable experiences
