Perform highly skilled operation repair and maintenance of the Central Utility Plant and its associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner using comprehensive understanding of system interdependencies and operations. Manage analyze system data and monitor the Building Automation Control Systems (Honeywell and Johnson) anticipate system needs problem-solve and adjust set points. Dispatch personnel in response to critical and non-critical system alarms and inform building occupants as required. Communicate with a variety of University personnel to effectively and efficiently manage the utility resources. Access information utilizing appropriate desktop applications. Promote a work place that encourages safety within the Shop and field. May operate a University vehicle. This position reports to a Supervisor and requires active engagement in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion environmental sustainability and delivering great customer service experiences.
