Job Summary
Essential Functions
Observe pressure temperature and electrical power output; make necessary adjustments to maintain proper operation and compliance.
Perform manual operations by opening and closing valves as well as operating the computer automation system to keep all systems operational.
Observe boilers turbines and other mechanical equipment to detect malfunctions and leaks.
Maintain all necessary logs of meter readings levels and chemistry required for operation.
Test water chemistry as necessary for proper boiler water operation.
Check lubrication levels and add as necessary to maintain safe operation of equipment.
Perform routine maintenance to keep the facility operational.
Monitor and troubleshoot process equipment in the field.
Be able to shut systems down safely and start them up as requested.
Be able to switch boilers and turbines between natural gas and liquid fuels.
Requirements
New Jersey State Black Seal High Pressure License is a minimum requirement.
Blue High Pressure License preferred.
Blue Seal Refrigeration License preferred.
Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of power plant operations systems and equipment.
Must have Lock Out/Tag Out experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Team player.
Reliable and dependable.
Valid New Jersey drivers license with a clean driving record.
Universal EPA Recovery License.
Must be able to work a rotating 3-shift schedule.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $37.09 - $43.64
