Job Description: | Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Interns participate in behavior analytic clinical activities with the aims of gaining specialized training in assessment treatment supervision leadership consultation and interprofessional/interdisciplinary skills. BCBA-Interns will gain experience across growing clinical and research programs dedicated to the UF Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment Mission. BCBA-interns work with a range of clinical presentations and clinical services and training activities are conducted in-person. BCBA-Interns will be participating in one of three behavior analytic training tracks (Severe Behavior Inpatient Consultation SevereFeeding Disorders). BCBA-interns work collaboratively with a range of providers (e.g. licensed mental health clinicians psychiatrists speech and occupational therapists etc.) and the program emphasizes strong and accessible supervision and consultation. The program also encourages interns engagement in clinical research. As part of state-funded initiatives under SB112 this position plays a key role in advancing UF Healths mission to expand behavioral health and psychiatric services and increase access to comprehensive high-quality mental health care for the communities we serve. |
