Black Elk Instructional Paraprofessional

Black Elk Elementary is seeking a highly motivated positive and collaborative Instructional Paraprofessional to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children thrives in a team environment and is excited to make a difference in student learning each day.

• Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support in reading and math.
• Reinforce skills and concepts that have been taught in the classroom through additional practice reteaching and extension.
• Work closely with classroom teachers and other staff to support students based on their individual learning needs.
• Help students build confidence independence and a positive attitude toward learning.
• Provide encouragement feedback and support to keep students engaged and successful.
• Assist with monitoring student progress and communicating observations with teachers.
• Help create a positive welcoming and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Support additional student and building needs throughout the school day as needed.

Working Hours:

Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 8:30-3:30

Wednesday 8:30-2:30
