Birth Through Kindergarten- Occupational Therapist Position

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking to hire a full-time Occupational Therapist to support children from Birth through Kindergarten. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• State Occupational Therapy License
• School-based AND/OR Pediatric based experience is required for this position

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

As a BirthKindergarten OT youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during some of the most important years of a childs development. Youll support children as they develop the skills needed to play learn communicate participate in routines and become more independent.

Youll provide individualized occupational therapy services based on each childs needs and plan of care including IFSPs and IEPs as appropriate. Your day may include developmental assessments therapy through play and everyday routines and support for fine motor development sensory processing visual-motor skills self-care motor planning and school readiness.

Youll also collaborate closely with families teachers early childhood professionals and other members of the childs support team to help children reach their developmental goals and participate as fully as possible in their environments.
