Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator.
To be considered for Taylor opportunities candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
- Perform daily weekly and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
- Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
- Check paper for correct type size color and quantity.
- Verify plates are set up in the correct format.
- Inspect printed materials throughout production runs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize work and adjust schedules to meet changing deadlines and production requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and safety requirements.
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Good reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including printed materials.
- Frequently required to move throughout the facility.
- Regularly moves up to 25 pounds (lift push pull and/or carry).
- Ability to work with very close tolerances.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- High degree of analytical skills.
- Good color discernment.
