Job Summary

Bindery Finishing Operator Full-Time

The Bindery Finishing Operator is responsible for operating a variety of finishing and bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications production deadlines and quality standards. This role performs cutting laminating binding folding packaging and other finishing processes while maintaining a safe efficient and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented mechanically inclined and committed to producing exceptional work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

  • Bindery & Finishing Equipment Operation
  • Cutting Laminating & Material Processing
  • Quality Control & Inspection
  • Job Ticket Review & Production Documentation
  • Production Efficiency & Waste Reduction
  • Safety SOP & 6S Compliance
  • Cross-Department Production Support
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions.
  • Experience operating production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math skills including rates ratios percentages fractions and measurements.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to safely lift materials and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred
  • Experience operating bindery and finishing equipment such as cutters die cutters laminators folders stitchers glue machines shrink wrappers drills coil binders sewing machines or grommet equipment.
  • Point-of-purchase (POP) commercial print packaging or display manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of print finishing processes quality inspection techniques and production workflows.
  • Experience with production data collection and job tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing 6S or continuous improvement practices.
