Bindery and Finishing Operator

Staff-Up is seeking an experiencedBindery & Finishing Operator to join our production team!

Pay: $19-$20.73 per hour

Shift: 6:50AM-3:20PM

This position is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining bindery and finishing equipment used to produce premium printed products including hardcover books luxury packaging and specialty print materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery equipment including foil stamping paper cutting and case making/binding machines (Kluge Perfecta Kolbus or similar).
• Perform machine setup changeovers and adjustments to meet production specifications.
• Monitor production quality and make necessary corrections to ensure finished products meet customer standards.
• Perform routine cleaning preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Read and follow work orders job tickets and production schedules.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience operating commercial bindery or finishing equipment.
• Experience with foil stamping programmable cutters hardcover case making or similar finishing equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read production specifications and perform accurate measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
