Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred in Social Work Counseling Psychology Education Human Services or a related field.
Experience working with adolescents in school community mental health juvenile justice mentoring or youth-serving settings.
Demonstrated skill in de-escalation conflict resolution restorative practices relationship-building and student engagement.
Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators counselors social workers teachers families and community partners. Ability to serve as a positive role model for students.
Duties:
Provide support to students experiencing academic social emotional behavioral attendance or engagement challenges.
Build trusting relationships with students and develop individualized support plans.
Assist with crisis response de-escalation and conflict mediation. Support re-entry planning following disciplinary incidents absences or other disruptions.
Monitor progress toward behavioral attendance and academic goals and adjust interventions as needed.
Collaborate with school teams to connect students with appropriate support and resources.
Preferred Experience:
- School ounseling or social work
- Restorative practices or PBIS implementation
- Youth mentoring or case management
- Community mental health or juvenile justice programs
