Adult Behavioral Health Tech Pay: $17.38 - $19.78/hour (Depending on experience) shift differentials

Childrens Behavioral Health Tech Pay: $18.38 - $20.78/hour (Depending on experience) shift differentials

Floating Adult BHT Pay: $18.59 - $20.99/hour

Floating Childrens BHT Pay: $19.59 - $21.99/hour

Community Counseling Center (CCC) offers shift differentials for Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) Staff who work on Evening and Overnight shifts at its residential facilities.

Evening Shift: $.50/hour per hour worked on Evenings.

Overnight Shift: #1.00/hour per hour worked on overnights.

Available Shifts:

• Full Time: Day Evening Overnight Shifts
• Full Time: Floating Shifts
• Part - Time: Day and Evening Shifts
• PRN: As needed typically 1 shift/week

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED/HSE
• Must hold Valid Drivers License (Class E for Missouri or Class D for IL Residents - Obtain on start date) and current continuous auto insurance.

Job Duties:

1. Provide care to clients in a manner that promotes safety comfort and a therapeutic environment based on a trauma informed approach.
2. Participate in recreational and social activities with clients.
3. Promote and educate clients regarding activities of daily living including household management (i.e. attending to bedroom laundry etc.) and self-care management (i.e. hygiene grooming medication etc.) tasks and responsibilities.
4. Teach functional living skills such as anger management techniques impulse control social/communication skills relaxation skills emotional coping skills etc. based on the clients individual treatment plan.
5. Collaborate closely with the treatment team to appropriately coordinate client care services.
6. Complete and chart client observations in accordance with agency policy and procedure.
7. Conduct ongoing checks; including personal belongings room checks and grounds checks based on agency policy and procedure.
8. Ensure protective oversight of clients monitor the condition of clients and follow agency policy and procedure regarding medical emergencies or elopement.
9. Cleaning of the facility and grounds as needed.
10. Intervene in behavioral health crisis situations when needed.
11. Distribute medications and document based on agency policy and procedure. Immediately report medication errors based on agency protocol. (only adult program)
12. Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
13. Document according to clinical policies and procedures DMH CARF and any other federal or state program per agency standards.

Note:

Childrens BHT would include

• Intervene in behavioral health crisis including Seclusion and restraint interventions.
• Fingerprinting would be required for this position. (DSS Fingerprinting)
