Before and After School Site Director/Early Learning Professional

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn grow and thrive.
Were looking for an early learning professional who:

In this role you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules ratios staffing and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance documentation and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources attendance and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families school staff and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification required. (can obtain post-employment)
- At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- You must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Possess a current professional teaching license issued by the Colorado Department of Education with an endorsement in the area of Elementary Education Early Childhood Education Early Childhood Special Education or Early Childhood Special Education Specialist; 2. Possess a current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher in Version 3.0 as determined by the Department; 3. Current certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in: Center-Based Preschool; Center-Based Infant-Toddler; or Family Child Care; or other Department-approved credential; 4. Two (2) years and nine (9) months (5005 hours) of satisfactory experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children less than eight (8) years of age who are not related to the individual and at least two (2) three (3)-semester credit hour courses from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education and one (1) of the courses must be either.
