Looking to gain leadership experience while youre in school

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day summer and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader Substitute youll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn grow and thrive. Youll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

Were looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible reliable and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role you will:

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages STEAM Fitness Maker and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates kids families and school staff

This role is ideal for students studying:

• Education
• Child Development
• Psychology
• Social Work
• Recreation or Youth Development

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Availability to work Monday to Friday 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
• Preferred 1 year of childcare experience with Elementary-aged students.
