Battery System Quality Engineer

Batteries power many of the most exciting devices Apple makes. Have you ever wondered how it all works We are a key team passionate about testing core technologies such as battery design gas gauging and charging! We use a gas gauge (aka battery gauge) to measure battery and environmental conditions and make predictions about present and future capacity. We test the integration of hardware software firmware and algorithms and help drive the quality of future Apple products. You will be testing automating and analyzing detailed results along with working closely with cross- functional teams to ensure product quality. We are looking for someone to develop design and run tests for battery powered products. Youll be responsible for validating the battery technologies on Apple products from a user experience perspective throughout their development lifecycle from early prototypes to post-release develop automation and analysis tools as required as well as analyze data and present to cross-functional partner teams.

Develop and run battery technology test plans with primary focus on customer experiencenReview existing test coverage and identify areas for improvementnTriage debug and conduct in-depth battery analysis of software hardware and system issuesnApply data-driven expertise and deep engineering knowledge to influence program and provide cross functional teams with detailed status and progress throughout the development cyclenEvaluate existing tools and opportunities to incorporate new tools into the testing process

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science field and 3 years of industry experience n3 years of experience programming in Python and/or C/CnExperience in automation and testing consumer productsnStrong written and verbal communication skills
