The Town of Webster is now accepting applications for talented fun hardworking candidates to be Coaches & Referees for the Webster Basketball Association youth basketball program.

MUST BE AVAILABLE to work November 8 2026 - February 7 2027 on Sundays from 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM (No games on 11/29/26 12/27/26 01/03/27 01/31/27)

Typical Dutiesincluding but not limited to:

• Leading basketball skills/drills in a group setting
• Coaching and refereeing a team of children ages 6-12 years old
• Setting up and taking down equipment in the gymnasium
• Must be committed and dedicated to providing the best team atmosphere each Sunday
• Be enthusiastic and enjoy working with kids

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the sport of basketball
• Ability to be responsible leading a group of kids
• Ability to be friendly enthusiastic patient and willing to participate in group recreational activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be available to work each Sunday 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM from November 8 2026 to February 7 2027
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Special Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to sit stand maintain physical activity for extended periods of time in a variety of environments
• Background check and drug test for 18 age employees
