Currently seeking team members who are passionate about building lasting vacation memories for owners/guests visiting our resort properties! We are looking for a Full Time Bartender to join our team at Christmas Mountain Village a Hilton Vacation Club in Wisconsin Dells WI.

As a Bartender at Christmas Mountain Village you will be responsible for delivering the positions responsibilities and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

What will I be doing

  • Serves food and beverages to members owners and guests anticipating their needs and responding promptly to any and all requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Immediately greets and acknowledges all arriving members owners and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Operates cash register and/or Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Adheres to all cash handling guidelines as set forth by the Company.
  • Responsible for all alcohol and supplies in bar and cash bank accountability.
  • Maintains positive guest relations through good communication skills proper demeanor correct body language and eye contact to ensure customer happiness and enhance the overall culinary experience.
  • Extends a courteous and friendly departure to all members owners and guests; thanking them for dining with us and inviting them back again with a genuine and professional demeanor.
  • Clears and resets tables as needed.
  • Completes all closing side work inspecting for cleanliness sanitation and organization of all work areas and of the outlet itself.
  • Takes ownership of any guest problems and resolve them according to departmental guidelines.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers room capacity hours of operation and proper table set-up.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the culinary field required.
  • License & certifications
  • 2 Years of related experience
  • Food Safety Certification must be state/county-specific.
  • Alcohol Awareness Training Certification must be state/county-specific.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to change.
  • Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action.
  • Able to establish and maintain a collaborative working relation.
  • Able to use sound judgment; work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
  • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Must be of legal age to sell alcohol.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency make and count back change).
