Job Summary
Fellows Creek Golf Club located in Canton MI is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Seasonal Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock bar mix and serve alcoholic beverages assist in cost control inventory and maintaining inventory records
- Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
- Perform opening and closing duties which include but are not limited to: inventory cash control cleaning and restocking
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
- Review banquet schedule for changes calendar of events and special events
- Serve catered parties from service or portable bars
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and deliver food promptly after preparation
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
- Alcohol Awareness Training
- Open availability required
- Valid drivers license required (golf cart and beverage cart may be used as part of this position)
- Regular and reliable attendance
