Position Overview

The Bartender at Aleteo Rooftop Restaurant is responsible for delivering high-energy elevated beverage service in a vibrant rooftop setting. This role prepares and serves craft cocktails wine beer and spirits while engaging guests with personality professionalism and speed. The Bartender plays an important role in creating a lively memorable dining and nightlife experience.

What Youll Do

• Beverage Preparation & Execution
• Prepare and serve cocktails wine beer and spirits following established recipes and standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails spirits wine and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure consistency accuracy and presentation of all beverages.
• Execute service efficiently during high-volume periods.

Guest Experience & Engagement

• Engage guests with confidence personality and genuine hospitality.
• Provide recommendations and guide guests through the beverage menu.
• Stay attentive to guest needs at the bar and surrounding areas.
• Contribute to a lively welcoming and elevated rooftop atmosphere.

Operations & Organization

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar service stations and work areas.
• Follow opening and closing procedures accurately.
• Handle cash credit cards and transactions responsibly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.

Teamwork & Professionalism

• Work collaboratively with servers barbacks and leadership to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Demonstrate urgency reliability and attention to detail.
• Accept feedback and coaching to support continued growth.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow responsible alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Adhere to all health safety sanitation and food handling standards.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned by restaurant leadership.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance as an essential function of the role.

What Youll Bring

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Previous bartending experience required preferably in a high-volume or rooftop environment.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of cocktails spirits wine and beverage service techniques.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak service periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends holidays and special events.
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Licenses or Certifications

• Food Handler Certification required.
• Alcohol Service Certification required.
