Bariatric Program Coordinator (RN) Full Time Mercy Plaza

Education: Graduated from an accredited RN nursing school.
Licensure: Current RN in the state of practice.
Experience: Knowledgeable regarding bariatric surgery bariatric care and special needs related to the bariatric patient. Skills in program development operations presentation and budgeting. Use of the EMR. Chart review/Data collection and report writing experience preferred.
Certification/Registration: Current Basic Life Support.
Other: Ability to hear and read effectively.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to navigate effectively in many computer systems.
Ability to work in a team-focused environment.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced work environment.
Ability to work independently.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide quality bedside patient care.
Preferred Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
Preferred Experience: Skills in public relations and in development of interdepartmental relationships Experience in data entry data bases and data registries.
Preferred Certification/Registration: Certified Bariatric Nurse
Preferred Other: Excellent computer skills in development of presentations and reports.
