JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service at Barchetta a new coastal Italian chophouse overlooking Fort Lauderdales Intracoastal Waterway. This role ensures a seamless dining experience by providing quick efficient and professional support through Barback Food Runner and Dining Room Attendant services while upholding Omnis standards of quality and JOB FUNCTIONS:Bar Back Stock and replenish bar supplies and beverages Maintain adequate ice glassware paper supplies and garnishesKeep bar and storage areas clean and organizedAssist bartenders during serviceRestock coolers and liquor storageRemove trash and maintain cleanlinessAssist with opening and closing dutiesMonitor inventory and communicate shortagesFollow sanitation safety and service standardsAssist with keg and equipment changes as neededComplete side work and restaurant opening/closing dutiesPerform other duties as assigned by managementFood RunnerAbility to learn and communicate ingredients and preparations of culinary dishes to guestsDeliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately Ensure plates are properly presented before leaving the kitchenAssist servers with food delivery and table maintenanceCommunicate with kitchen and service staff regarding ordersMaintain cleanliness and organization of service areasComplete side work and restaurant opening/closing dutiesFollow food safety and sanitation standardsMonitor guest needs and communicate requests to the serverPerform other duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 1 year food runner experience/bar back experience preferred. Other relevant hotel / food & beverage experience will be to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests management and co-workers with the ability to answer guest questions and describe menu to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your to prioritize organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced customer service service recovery and problem-solving be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and & POSITION ANALYSIS:Move bend lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
