Position Overview

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering attentive professional service during events and functions ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience that reflects the hotels standards. This role supports all aspects of banquet service from setup through breakdown while maintaining a high level of hospitality and attention to detail.

What Youll Do

Event Setup & Preparation

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications including tables linens glassware and service stations
• Ensure all event spaces are properly prepared and presentation-ready prior to guest arrival

Food & Beverage Service

• Serve food and beverages in a timely professional and courteous manner
• Follow established service standards and event timelines
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests

Guest Experience

• Provide attentive friendly and engaging service throughout each event
• Maintain a polished and professional presence at all times
• Support a positive and memorable experience for all guests

Cleanliness & Breakdown

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and event spaces during service
• Assist with breakdown cleanup and resetting of rooms after events
• Ensure all equipment and service items are properly stored

Team Coordination

• Communicate effectively with banquet leadership culinary teams and fellow team members
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth execution of all events

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned to support banquet and hotel operations
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance as an essential function of the role

What Youll Bring

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous banquet or restaurant service experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Strong customer service and guest engagement skills
• Ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods
• Team-oriented with clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays
• Professional appearance and demeanor in line with service standards

Licenses or Certifications

• Food Handler Certification required
