Banquet Server On Call

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing professional friendly and efficient food and beverage service during weddings conferences meetings private parties and other catered events. This position helps ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience while maintaining high standards of service cleanliness and presentation.

• Set up banquet rooms tables chairs linens place settings and service stations.

• Greet guests and provide courteous attentive service throughout events.

• Serve food and beverages according to event specifications and service standards.

• Clear dishes glassware and utensils efficiently while minimizing disruption to guests.

• Replenish beverages buffet items and service supplies as needed.

• Assist with buffet plated family-style and cocktail-style service.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.

• Follow proper food-safety sanitation and alcohol-service procedures.

• Respond professionally to guest questions and requests.

• Assist with event breakdown cleaning and storage of banquet equipment.

• Communicate effectively with the banquet captain kitchen staff bartenders and event team.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful event operations.

• Previous banquet restaurant catering or hospitality experience preferred.

• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.

• Must be reliable and punctual.

• Ability to stand walk bend and lift throughout a shift.

• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry trays equipment and supplies typically up to 2550 pounds.

• Ability to safely navigate crowded event spaces while carrying food and beverages.
