Drive creative improvements across Atlassians engineering organization. Design build and operate core identity services while delivering features end-to-end from authoring technical designs and implementing services to creating robust tests deploying via CI/CD pipelines and monitoring SLOs. Help maintain operational excellence through on-call participation incident response and post-incident reviews. Develop automation to minimize manual toil. Mentor peers conduct design and code reviews enhance documentation and improve the overall developer experience. Champion security best practices perform threat modeling and embed privacy-by-design principles into our authorization workflows.

40 hrs/week Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $196600/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering Data Analytics Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

• Software development using GoLang Java Python Kotlin Go or Scala programming languages

• Microservices oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs

• SaaS PaaS IaaS industry with hands on experience with public or private cloud offerings e.g. AWS GCP Azure

• Database technology such as RDBMS (Oracle or Postgres) or NoSQL (DynamoDB or Cassandra)

• Algorithms data structures systems design and distributed systems concepts (e.g. consistency partitioning caching)

• Delivering software in Agile environments
