What Youll Do

Under the supervision of Residential Services leadership interns may:

• Assist with quality-assurance reviews and documentation audits
• Support compliance monitoring for Medicaid and state requirements
• Help organize individual records training documentation incident reports and compliance materials
• Participate in residential visits and provider-support activities
• Assist with residential assessments and health and safety monitoring
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions
• Communicate professionally with individuals providers families guardians and team members
• Learn about Host Home Family Caregiver PCA and supported apartment services
• Observe and report health safety documentation or compliance concerns
• Build professional relationships with residential providers and community partners
• Gain limited exposure to direct services to better understand residential programming
• Maintain confidentiality professional boundaries and HIPAA standards
• Complete other internship projects based on learning goals and program needs

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass required background checks
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation when required by the assignment
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete certification
• Mandatory Reporter training which may be completed during the internship
• Ability to meet the physical and safety requirements of assigned internship activities
