Avionics Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an Avionics Electrical Design Engineer specializing in schematic design and PCB/board layout for airborne electronics. The engineer will be responsible for electrical design circuit development PCB layout EMI/EMC considerations simulation testing and compliance with aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical schematics and circuit designs for avionics systems.
• Design RF/electrical circuits including power amplifiers LNAs filters and related interfaces.
• Perform PCB layout including high-speed PCB design signal integrity and power integrity considerations.
• Apply EMI/EMC design practices throughout schematic and PCB development.
• Conduct circuit analysis and simulations using MATLAB SPICE ADS HFSS or equivalent tools.
• Support design verification troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical/PCB issues.
• Perform and support environmental RF emissions RF susceptibility and lightning testing.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant aerospace and airborne hardware standards including DO-160 and DO-254.
• Work with test equipment such as network analyzers spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Collaborate with systems embedded mechanical manufacturing and verification teams.
• Support design reviews documentation qualification and production release activities.

Preferred Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB/board layout for aerospace/avionics electronics.
• Understanding of high-speed RF EMI/EMC and signal-integrity design principles.
• Experience taking designs from concept schematic PCB layout prototype testing qualification.

Strong troubleshooting analytical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
