We are seeking a talented and motivated Autonomy Engineering intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of autonomous systems. As an intern you will collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers to develop and test advanced algorithms and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the development and implementation of autonomous navigation perception or control algorithms.
• Analyze and interpret data from sensors and other sources to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomy solutions into various platforms.
• Document and present findings and progress to the engineering team.

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD (preferred) in Robotics Computer Science or a related field; BS candidates with relevant coursework project experience or demonstrated technical skills will also be considered.
• Proficiency in C/C programming
• Experience with ROS1 or ROS2 (Robot Operating System) and Linux
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hands-on experience with autonomous systems through research coursework projects competitions or previous internships

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• Position requires light physical activity.
• Daytime schedule Monday-Friday with infrequent night/weekend work for project surge support and additional effort as needed to achieve deadlines.
