Chalmers Ford is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our growing Service Department.
Were looking for a proven dealership Service Advisor who knows how to build customer relationships write accurate repair orders communicate with technicians recommend maintenance and repairs and deliver an exceptional service experience.
Were especially interested in candidates with experience at Ford Chevrolet GMC Chrysler Dodge Jeep or Ram dealerships but experienced Service Advisors from other domestic dealerships are encouraged to apply.
$60000$100000 PER YEAR
Commission-based pay plan with strong earning potential for experienced Service Advisors.
- Greet customers in the service drive and identify their vehicle needs
- Conduct customer consultations and write accurate repair orders
- Explain recommended maintenance repairs and warranty coverage
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally
- Work closely with Technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs
- Monitor repair orders and keep customers updated
- Recommend appropriate maintenance and additional services
- Schedule and manage service appointments
- Follow up with customers after service
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business
- Maintain accurate customer and repair information
- Meet department sales CSI and customer satisfaction goals
- 2 years of dealership Service Advisor experience required
- Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
- Understanding of manufacturer warranty processes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to recommend and sell automotive services
- Ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume service department
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively with Technicians Parts and Management
- Professional positive and team-oriented attitude
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
