• Oversee all accounting and financial operations across multiple dealership rooftops.
  

• Manage financial reporting for CDJR Ford and Chevrolet dealerships.
  

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  

• Oversee general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and reconciliations.
  

• Monitor cash flow floorplan accounts vehicle inventory and contracts in transit.
  

• Ensure accurate manufacturer financial reporting and compliance.
  

• Review schedules identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
  

• Establish and maintain strong internal accounting controls.
  

• Monitor dealership expenses and identify opportunities for improved profitability.
  

• Supervise train and develop accounting department personnel.
  

• Work directly with General Managers and executive leadership.
  

• Ensure financial accuracy and consistency across all dealership locations.
  

• Support audits tax preparation and financial reporting requirements.
  

AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

• Proven experience as an Automotive Dealership Controller or equivalent senior dealership accounting leader.
  

• Multi-rooftop dealership accounting experience strongly preferred.
  

• Strong understanding of automotive dealership financial statements and manufacturer reporting.
  

• Experience with CDJR Ford Chevrolet or other franchised dealerships preferred.
  

• Dealertrack DMS experience is a plus.
  

• Advanced knowledge of general ledger floorplan accounting inventory reconciliations and month-end close.
  

• Experience managing accounting teams and overseeing multiple financial operations.
  

• Strong leadership organizational and analytical skills.
  

• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  

• Experience with automotive dealership management systems (DMS).
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with dealership leadership.
