Position Summary

As an Automation Technician youll be at the heart of keeping advanced automated systems running safely efficiently and reliably. This is a handson role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting improving processes and working with cuttingedge automation and controls technology. Youll partner closely with maintenance engineering and operations teams to keep production moving and continuously improve performance.

What Youll Do

In this role youll support maintain and improve automated systems across the facility including PLCs robotics sensors vision systems and industrial networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing and material handling equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation electrical and control systems
  • Troubleshoot PLCs (AllenBradley Siemens or similar) HMI panels and VFDs
  • Support robotic systems (Fanuc ABB KUKA or similar) including setup and recovery
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics control diagrams and technical documentation
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Support new equipment installations upgrades and system modifications
  • Maintain safety standards when working with highvoltage and automated systems
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve reliability throughput and uptime
  • Document repairs system changes and preventive maintenance activities in the CMMS
What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience supporting automated or industrial equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical and control systems
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCcontrolled equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced industrial or distribution environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Automation Mechatronics Electrical or Industrial Technology
  • Experience with robotics servo systems and vision systems
  • Knowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP Profinet DeviceNet etc.)
  • Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs
  • Manufacturing or highspeed distribution environment experience
Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand walk and work on equipment for extended periods
  • Lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
  • Work safely around moving machinery electrical systems and elevated platforms
  • Flexibility to work overtime weekends or oncall as needed

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $40.90

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
