Job Summary

Madisonville Community College is seeking a full-time instructor position within the Automation and Industrial Technology program. The successful candidate will assume a faculty role in the development and delivery of online program-related courses and hands-on laboratory exercises for traditional non-traditional and high school dual-credit students.

Job Duties:

Teaching assignment includes Automation and Industrial Technology courses and may include face-to-face day and evening hybrid accelerated and online delivery modalities.
Faculty responsibilities include advising committee work and other institutional services community service and professional development.
The successful candidate must possess a strong commitment to student learning and will be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
In addition candidates should demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate of Applied Science degree in a related field with three to five years of industrial experience across multiple disciplines to include but not limited to electrical hydraulic/pneumatic and mechanical concepts; engineering controls programmable logic controllers robotics and engineering schematics.
Applicants should possess excellent computer skills and excellent communication/presentation skills.
