Automation Application Engineer

Milacron is looking for an Automation Application Engineer to join our team in Batavia this position you will be responsible for programming integrating commissioning and supporting automation systems for injection molding machine applications while working closely with customers equipment suppliers and engineering teams to ensure successful project implementation and Youll Do:Work closely with automation equipment suppliers and customers to deliver fully integrated automation solutions for injection molding integration startup and commissioning of injection molding machines auxiliary equipment and automation optimize install and commission robotic and automation systems at customer Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and customer validation automation controls and equipment issues in both plant and field technical support to customers and coordinate issue resolution with engineering customers on automation equipment operation maintenance and best programming activities commissioning reports installation procedures and technical continuous improvement initiatives related to automation standards programming methods and field service extensively to support equipment installations startups customer training and service :Associates degree technical certification or equivalent automation robotics or controls experience required.3 years of experience in industrial automation controls robotics or related manufacturing environments supporting field installations commissioning equipment startup and customer support troubleshooting diagnostic and technical problem-solving to travel approximately 35% or more based on project requirements and customer with Fanuc ABB Yaskawa KUKA Sepro B&R Beckhoff or similar automation platforms programming experience HMI controls and auxiliary equipment integration experience equipment installation and startup experience automation robotics machine builder or systems integration experience -facing service technical support or training experience To: Manager Automation & Integrated Systems#LI-AP1 #LI-ONSITE
