Job Summary
Leidos is seeking an Application Tester for a technical development program of 200 FTE supporting the Sponsors Attribute/EntitlementServices within the IDAM/ICAM space. The Test Engineer will support the test of access control systems for a government customer. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customers mission by helping ensure secure reliable and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain test plans for web mobile and API testing.
- Execute manual tests to identify defects and report them to the development team
- Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to test planning case design and documentation.
- Support the team with User acceptance teams to include roles test scripts reporting results and scheduling testing meetings with the UAT users.
- Familiar with agile methodology and continuous feature testing
- Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field 15 years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright Katalon)
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java Python JavaScript or C#)
- Experience in API testing (Postman REST Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of software testing methodologies SDLC and Agile/Scrum
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Automation Testing - Katalon experience
- Good knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter Locust).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
