Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our this role you will inspect collision-damaged vehicles perform high-quality repairs and help restore vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will work closely with the estimating team to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of body structural mechanical and interior damage.
Repair collision damage by straightening frames removing dents replacing damaged panels and restoring vehicle bodies.
Work with estimators to review repair needs and support the repair process.
Perform repairs using proper tools equipment and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
Keep accurate records of repair progress and completed work.
Organize daily tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
Work professionally with team members to deliver quality results.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Automotive collision repair training is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of collision repair experience required.
Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Ability to maintain high productivity while producing quality work.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read understand and follow manufacturer repair specifications.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing bending lifting reaching and moving throughout the workday.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
