Audit & Appeal Analyst (Full Time)

Job Summary
This role is primarily remote with only occasional trips to our Springfield Missouri office (typically twice per year) to provide backup coverage for essential mail services and support business operations.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Preferred Experience: Two years related healthcare experience in revenue cycle health information management auditing or patient accounting experience preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to effectively work with others involved in the audit and appeal process.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and organize various tasks/projects simultaneously to ensure departmental and Mercy-wide goals are timely met.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Knowledge of computer applications and their implications on the audit and appeal process.
